Millions of children across Africa walk hours every day to find and collect dirty water for their families. When a community doesn’t have access to clean water, children are among those most impacted. They are more likely to get sick, miss school, and lose time they could be spending with their friends and families.

By hosting a ‘Walk for Water’ at your school, you can help your students experience what it’s like to walk just a fraction of this distance. Allowing them with every step, to make a difference for a child just like them!

Imagine walking on average 6 kilometres every day across difficult African terrain in the hot sun to collect water from polluted rivers and ponds.
