Help Ilandutwa Village

We were driving home with full hearts after giving clean water to a rural medical clinic.

What we saw next quickly turned our joy into deep sadness. There in the ditch at the side of the road, we saw two Mama’s filling their buckets with dirty water.

In the face of their heartbreaking reality, they still greeted us with the biggest smile and warm welcome.

They told us that approx. 200 people were collecting water from this road side, we stood there in complete shock!!
Then to make matters worse, they told us
soon with the hotter weather this water would dry up and then they would have to walk anywhere between 4-6 kilometres in search for water.

Coincidentally, the village chairman was driving pass on his motorcycle and he stopped. He’d heard we’d helped the medical clinic and asked if we’d consider helping them too.

$8500 will give their community a new water well and end this nightmare for these precious people.
