Little Seed Collective

Growing food. Growing income. Growing hope.

Every great harvest begins with a little seed

The Little Seed Collective is a women-led initiative empowering some of the most vulnerable widows in rural Tanzania to cultivate their own land, grow nutritious food and create sustainable income opportunities for their families.

These women face the daily challenge of providing for their children with little or no reliable income. Through the Little Seed Collective, women are not simply given assistance, they are equipped with the tools, knowledge and support they need to build a more sustainable future.

All the communities, we work amongst have firstly received a water well. By solving the water burden, the women to be free to develop their land.

A seed is planted. A woman is equipped. A harvest grows. Hope multiplies.

For a $80 donation, a woman receives 20kg of seed, a hand-held gardening tool, agricultural training, ongoing mentorship, and the support of a community united in love and prayer.

After their second harvest, women have the opportunity to pay it forward by sharing seeds with another widow in need, creating a ripple effect of generosity, kindness and hope.
